Mukesh Nirvasit

Mukesh is a prominent social activist from Rajasthan, and the founder and current General Secretary of the Rajasthan Asangathit Mazdoor Union (RAMU), established in 2017. RAMU works in over 100 gram-panchayats across five districts, securing fair wages and employment rights under MGNREGA.

Mukesh is a full-time activist with the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (MKSS) and a longtime associate and coordinator of the Suchna evam Rozgar Adhikar Abhiyan, focusing on employment and accountability. He played a key role in the Jawabdehi Yatra, a state-wide campaign demanding the passage of the Accountability Law in Rajasthan.

Mukesh has also contributed to the formulation and advocacy of major legislations, viz. the Rajasthan Minimum Guaranteed Income Act, the Right to Health Act, and the Platform-Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Act, 2023. His work reflects a deep commitment to justice, transparency, and the rights of marginalized communities.
